For farmers’ markets
The same producers every month. None of the chasing.
A farmers’ market runs on regulars and the odd new face. Ticket Folk keeps every producer’s application and paperwork in one place, and copies each market to the next date, so the first Saturday of the month is just a market.
Join the waiting listHow it’s usually done
- A new producer’s application in a Word document, every time
- Insurance renewals spotted only when somebody asks
- Each month’s list rebuilt by hand
- The same three people doing every setup
New producers apply online.
Share one link on your website or your stall. Growers, bakers and makers tell you what they sell and where it comes from, and upload the documents you ask for.
- One application form for every stall
- Food hygiene and insurance kept with each one
- A short summary of each application
Next month in a click.
Copy this month’s market to the next date, and its setup comes with it. No rebuilding the list from scratch on a Friday night.
- Copy a market to a new date
- Each date keeps its own list
- See who’s coming at a glance
Share the setting up.
Ask for helpers for gazebos, signs and the car park. Each job shows how many people you still need, so the same three people don’t end up doing it every month.
- Jobs that show how full they are
- Volunteers apply from the same link
- A team leader for setup, if you want one
How the year goes
- Once: Set up your market and open producer applications with one link.
- Each month: Copy last month’s market to the new date. Approve any new producers.
- The week before: Check every job has someone on it.
- Market day: Everyone knows where they’re pitched and who’s helping.
Questions
- We don’t sell tickets. Is it free?
- Yes. We only charge when a ticket sells. Producer applications, volunteers and copying markets cost nothing.
- Can producers pay their pitch fee online?
- Not yet. Approve producers here and take pitch fees the way you do now. We’ll update this page when that changes.
- Can we keep producers’ certificates on file?
- Yes. Ask for the documents you need and they’re kept with each producer’s application, so you can check them in one place.
- Do producers need an account?
- No. They apply from your link on any phone, with no password. If we need something from them later, we send them a link.
- What does it cost to sell tickets?
- Free for founding organisers while we’re starting out, with every feature, and for a year, 12 events or 1,000 tickets after our fee starts. Then 2.5% an order, never more than £2.50.
