For country and agricultural shows

Cattle in the ring, cars in the field. Tickets that keep up.

A country show is a big day with a lot of moving parts: gate tickets, car parks, trade stands, stewards and a showground where the signal gives up by ten. Ticket Folk keeps them in one place.

How it’s usually done

• Advance tickets on one site, trade stands on a paper form
• Stewards in a spreadsheet with three versions
• A car park queue onto the main road
• Card machines that stop when the field fills

Gate and car park tickets.

Sell adult, child, family, dog and car parking tickets in one order, with limits on each. Visitors get one email with one code for the whole car.

• Day, family and parking tickets
• One code for the whole group
• Discount codes for members

A gate that keeps going.

Car park crew look people up by registration. Gate stewards scan on their own phones. When the signal drops, check-in carries on and catches up later.

• Offline check-in on any phone
• Search by name, reference or car reg
• Door sales counted with everything else

Trade stands and stewards.

Trade stands, caterers and craft marquees apply with their insurance attached. Stewards pick their jobs, and a team leader can look after each team.

• Trade stand and catering applications
• Documents kept with each stand
• A team leader for each team

How the year goes

1. New year: Copy last year’s show. Open trade stand and steward applications.
2. Spring: Advance tickets on sale from the date you set. Approve stands as they come in.
3. The month before: Every steward job shows who’s on it. Team leaders sort their own.
4. Show day: Car park and gate check-in, with or without signal. Live numbers all day.

Questions

Can we sell car parking with the tickets?

Yes. Car parking is a ticket type like any other, with its own limit, and the car park crew can search by registration.

Can trade stands upload their insurance?

Yes. Ask for public liability insurance or any other document, and it’s kept with each stand’s application.

Can trade stands pay their stand fee online?

Not yet. Approve stands here and invoice them the way you do now. We’ll update this page when that changes.

Can we give members a discount?

Yes. Make a discount code and share it with your members.

What does it cost to sell tickets?

Free for founding organisers while we’re starting out, with every feature, and for a year, 12 events or 1,000 tickets after our fee starts. Then 2.5% an order, never more than £2.50.
